Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective September 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of BodyCamAI at bodycamreview.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service is (and is not)

BodyCamAI is evidence-review software: it transcribes audio and applies AI analysis to body-worn camera and similar footage to help legal professionals review discovery. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for professional judgment. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for independently verifying every finding, timestamp, and transcript line against the source footage before relying on it in any proceeding, filing, or advice to a client.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The Service is intended for lawyers, their staff, and others working on legal matters, and you must be at least 18. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is provided by Clerk.

3. Your content and our license

You retain all rights to the material you use with the Service, including footage, documents, case information, and the analyses generated for you. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store your footage in your evidence vault, process the frames, audio, and text derived from it, and store your case information and results for your account. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not share it except with the service providers identified in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your responsibilities for content

You represent that you have the legal right to possess and process the footage and documents you use with the Service, and that your use complies with applicable law, court orders, and protective orders governing your discovery materials. You will not use the Service to violate anyone’s rights or for any unlawful purpose.

5. The evidence vault; keep your originals

Video files you upload are stored in an encrypted evidence vault reserved for your account. Deleting a video or a case permanently deletes the corresponding vault files. The Service is a review workspace, not your system of record for discovery: always retain your original discovery files in your own evidence storage. We are not responsible for loss of files you have deleted or of local browser copies kept for playback.

6. Plans, billing, and usage limits

  • Free pilot: includes three AI video analyses at no charge.
  • Solo: billed monthly through Stripe and includes 40 hours of video processing per month; unused hours do not roll over. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
  • Storage: the Solo plan includes 200 GB of evidence vault storage; firm bundles can include more by agreement.
  • Firm and government office bundles: custom pricing by agreement.
  • Cases are limited to three attached documents with per-document and per-case size limits shown in the product.

You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices prospectively with notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

7. Acceptable use

You will not attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures, probe or disrupt the Service, resell it without our agreement, or use it to build a competing dataset. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate or complete, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or professional discipline or malpractice claims arising from reliance on AI output. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Virginia, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and noted on this page, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions: hello@bodycamreview.app.

These terms incorporate the BodyCamAI Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how it is handled.

Most body-camera evidence is silent, so we review the whole video. Not just the audio transcript.

BodyCamAI is evidence-review software, not legal advice; attorneys remain responsible for independently verifying AI output against source footage. Video files are stored in an encrypted evidence vault reserved for your account, and client footage is never used to train AI models. Feature comparisons reflect public vendor materials as of July 2026; verify current capabilities with each vendor. The interactive demo uses synthetic footage and an invented fact pattern; other imagery on this site is illustrative and is not client material. BodyCamAI is not affiliated with any other legal software vendor.
